We are excited to welcome Eleni Siakati and Savvas Varytimiadis from Aegean Solutions S.A. to Politecnico di Bari – AGLab as part of the COASTLINE Project! 🎉
During their one-month secondment, they will contribute to advancing the development and validation of the COASTLINE Web Platform — a key step toward smarter, more sustainable coastal management.
🔹 Eleni Siakati will focus on evaluating the ΑΙ chatbot for the COASTLINE website and coordinating user requirements research, which will determine the final specifications of the platform. In addition, she will deepen her knowledge of GIS data collection and integration in open-source GIS environments.
🔹 Savvas Varytimiadis will lead the research and analysis of user and system requirements, supporting the technological design and architecture of the platform. He will also contribute to the preparation of WP5 deliverables and the organization of Training Event 02 – Entrepreneurship.
These secondments represent more than just research collaboration — they strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, driving innovation for climate-resilient and sustainable coastal ecosystems.
