Ioannis Savva from CUT arrived at TerraMarine premises on 23 May 2025 and was seconded until 22 July 2025, working on WP4 – Environmental mapping and monitoring and Task 2.1 –Review of Multipressure Assessments. The primary objectives of the secondment were to become familiari with and trained on object–based image analysis and to conduct a systematic review based on PRISMA guidelines on multipressure assessment methods in Posidonia oceanica. During this secondment, extensive training was undertaken in object-based image analysis (OBIA) using drone imagery. This training included familiarization with key workflow steps such as image georeferencing, segmentation, the creation of training samples, and object classification. Throughout the process, new skills were acquired in the use of advanced tools in QGIS, including the OBIA-specific Orfeo Toolbox plugin.
