Ioannis Savva from CUT was seconded for 2 months at the FORTH premises. During his secondment, Ioannis conducted satellite imagery analysis, classification, and cartography, contributing to Deliverable 4.2.2 through a detailed methodological and results-oriented write–up. His work focused on mapping anthropogenic infrastructure and Posidonia oceanica meadows in Limassol Bay, producing valuable spatial data for environmental monitoring and coastal management. Working within a multidisciplinary scientific environment provided opportunities to engage in collaborative research, develop a professional scientific network, and strengthen his academic and technical profile. Ioannis’ contribution to the project is not ending here, as he will be seconded to TerraMarine to further advance his research work!
