COASTLINE to RSCy 2026

🌊 COASTLINE went to RSCy 2026 in Cyprus!

Our Coordinator @Apostolos Papakonstantinou presented the COASTLINE project in the talk: 👉 “A Geospatial Framework for High-Resolution Coastal Mapping”

🗓️ 27 April · Coastal, Marine & Water Systems session

Our coastlines are changing fast — erosion, sea-level rise, and human pressure. We showed how COASTLINE (EU Horizon 2020 / Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) brings together satellites 🛰️, drones with LiDAR 🚁, and machine learning 🤖 to map and predict these changes in high resolution, and to help protect coastal habitats and heritage.

Our goal? A smart, easy-to-use platform that helps scientists and decision-makers see how our coasts evolve — in 2D and 3D, in real time.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and for the great interaction! 👋
