🌊🛰️ COASTLINE at Researchers’ Night 2026!
The COASTLINE MSCA Project participated in Researchers’ Night 2026 at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), in Heraklion, Crete, on 25 September 2026.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn how Earth Observation, Remote Sensing and geospatial technologies can support the monitoring and protection of our coastal environments and cultural heritage.
From satellite and aerial observations to GIS-based mapping and risk assessment, COASTLINE brings together innovative technologies and interdisciplinary expertise to better understand environmental change and contribute to the sustainable management and safeguarding of Europe’s coastal zones and coastal cultural heritage. 🌊🏛️🛰️
Researchers’ Night offered a great opportunity to share the project’s research with the public and demonstrate how geospatial science can connect research, cultural heritage and coastal resilience.
